The Best Happy Hours in Savannah, GA

Happy hour is a great option on vacation because it’s budget friendly and allows you to try restaurants + bars without too much of a time commitment. When I’m planning a trip and there are so many places I want to try I will choose a happy hour spot and then plan a later dinner so I can hit two locations. When I visited most recently I was able to hit some great happy hours in Savannah but there are so many more I want to enjoy! Here are some of the best Savannah happy hour spots. The best part is that some of these places have happy hour on the weekend too!

Sorry Charlie’s Oyster Bar

Sorry Charlie’s has happy hour Monday-Friday from 4-6pm featuring $1 oysters, $3 Savannah beer and $5 bubbles. On the rooftop there are $5 champagne cocktails. Sorry Charlie’s is housed in one of the oldest commercial buildings in the state of Georgia and overlooks Ellis Square.

Common Restaurant & Bar

Common has Tuesday-Sunday happy hour from 3-7pm including both food and drinks. I am always on the hunt for weekend happy hours because they are generally harder to find, but better for those visiting for the weekend. There are various options available but I recommend the .50 oysters and $5 mules. Also, I highly recommend you try a chimichurri oyster….they are delicious.

The Grove Savannah

The Grove offers happy hour specials Monday-Friday from 5-7pm. Happy hour includes 50% of champagne and wines by the glass, $2 off housemade cocktails, $1 off Southbound Brewing CompanyService Brewing beers and $2 off appetizers.

The Alida Hotel: Rhett & The Trade Room Happy Hours

The Alida currently has two restaurants offering happy hour. Rhett has Monday through Friday happy hour from 5-6pm and The Trade Room has happy hour Thursday through Saturday from 4-6pm. Rhett has both food and drink specials. I very highly recommend the mushroom tartine as your happy hour snack. The Trade Room offers specials including $3 beers, $6 wines, and $6 wells. Normally the Lost Square rooftop bar has happy hour as well, but it has been temporarily cancelled.

Other happy hour specials on my list:

CO Savannah

I have never been to the CO in Savannah, but I have been to the one in Atlanta and it is definitely a great place to grab happy hour and some sushi. Happy hour if Monday-Friday from 4-7pm. Drink specials include a $5 specialty cocktail, $3 sake infusions, $4 draft beer & select wine. Food specials include various bites such as tacos, crab rangoon, pork belly buns and tuna tataki. On Tuesday and Thursday you can get 1/2 off select Makimono rolls. On Sunday$ there are 10 mimosa carafes, $3 mimosas, & $5 sriracha mary’s.

The Fitzroy

The Fitzroy happy hour during the week includes half off cocktails, select beer and glasses of wine. There is also bar menu featuring a selection of bites from 3-6pm.

Chart House

While I haven’t been to the Chart House in Savannah, I have been to the Old Town Alexandria and Tampa locations. Happy hour includes both food and drink specials. Chart House has a consistently good happy hour at all of its locations plus it is waterfront with a sprawling patio providing river views.

Vic’s on the River

Happy hour at Vic’s is Monday-Friday from 4-5pm and is another great riverfront option.

Husk Savannah

Husk offer $6 bar bites including oysters Monday-Friday from 5-6pm. Happy hour includes a small list of $6 cocktails, beer & wine.

What are your favorite Savannah happy hours? Drop them in the comments. 🙂
