Vinoteca is my favorite boutique wine shop in Atlanta, located in Inman Park right off the BeltLine. It is a female-owned small business specializing in small production wines, specifically organic and naturally done wines. With a curated collection of new and old world wine you are bound to find something that strikes your fancy.
Aside from the wine, I was originally drawn in by the space. It is intimate and rustic feeling with limited indoor and outdoor seating. I have done tastings at Vinoteca various times and find myself learning and trying something new every time I am there. Each week there is new tasting with three unique wines that you can come in and enjoy for $15. If you find something you like, you can also buy it by the glass. There are fun pairings and events that they host regularly, some highlights are: Girl Scout cookie + wine pairing, pop-up bake sale with free tasting, yoga + wine tasting, and many more.
Vinoteca does also host private events. I have been to a private event with the Junior League of Atlanta and we had such an amazing time. The staff was great and the tasting was super informational although fun and laid back.
The shop has adapted with COVID by creating a database of their wines online and will even curate a selection for you if you give them a call. Tastings are also now only being held outside on the patio.
Whether you are in the neighborhood shopping or waiting for a reservation at a nearby dining spot I highly suggest stopping in. Otherwise, check them out online here or give them a call.
